On March 26th, we will be joyfully celebrating the third anniversary of SoHum Mountain Healing Resort with a sacred Puja ceremony guided by Dr. Vasant Lad.
This special ceremony will take place from the heart of SoHum and will be shared online via Zoom with our extended community, allowing friends, students, and seekers around the world to join in spirit from wherever they are.
Whether you have visited SoHum before or are simply connected to the wisdom of Ayurveda, we warmly welcome you to be part of this sacred moment.
What is Puja?
In the Vedic tradition, a puja is an offering of gratitude — a moment where intention, prayer, and sacred sound come together to invite harmony, healing, and blessings for all beings.
Through mantra, offerings, fire, and prayer, the puja creates a field of intention, purification, and blessing. It is a way of expressing gratitude while inviting harmony for the future.
When performed with sincerity, the vibration of the ceremony extends beyond the physical space — touching all those who participate, even from afar.

The in-person ceremony will be an intimate gathering reserved for the guests attending Panchakarma at SoHum during that week.
Being present during a puja at SoHum is a deeply meaningful experience. Surrounded by the stillness of the mountains, the ceremony becomes a moment of reflection, gratitude, and renewal within the larger healing journey of Panchakarma.

Dr. Vasant Lad

A native of India, Vasant Lad’s illustrious 40+ year career includes his service as Medical Director at the Ayurveda Hospital in Pune, India, for 3 years and Professor of Clinical Medicine at Pune University College of Ayurvedic Medicine for 15 years. He holds a Bachelor’s of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAM&S) from the University of Pune and a Master’s of Ayurvedic Science (MASc) degree from Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya.
